News Tony Winner Patti LuPone Will Take Part in Free Oral History Interview at New York Public Library The League of Professional Theatre Women (the League) will present an Oral History interview with two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone June 3 at 6 PM at the Bruno Walter Auditorium of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

LuPone, who is also an Olivier Award winner, will be interviewed by theatre writer Kathy Henderson. Admission is free, but seats will be on a first-come, first-seated basis.

On June 5 the League will honor Judith Malina with a special award presented by Anna Deveare Smith. Lighting designer Peggy Eisenhauer will receive the Ruth Morley Design Award presented by Mark Russell of the Public Theater. This awards luncheon will be held at Sardi’s and is open to the public.

On June 11 Women Stage the World will take to the streets in a parade through the Broadway district. Women Stage the World is an initiative of the League's Advocacy Committee: All are invited to join in this celebration, advocating for women's voices in the theatre. The parade will begin, rain or shine, at 5:30 PM in the plaza space on the west side of Broadway between 50th and 51st Streets.

The Bruno Walter Auditorium of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts is located at 65th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
