Presented by Manhattan Repertory Theatre, Jon Courie's world premiere will play a limited four-week engagement at the Off-Broadway venue beginning Nov. 8. Performances will continue through Dec. 5. The cast comprises Athena Masci, Rachel Charlop-Powers, Grace Savage, Jim Speak and Wanda O'Connell.

Carapace Isle, according to press notes, is a "comedy set in a small town on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina. In a moment of crisis, Ashley (Athena Masci) returns to her parents' home, seeking support and comfort. Instead, she's hit broadside with a dose of Southern-fried family dysfunction."

Pawk won the Best Featured Actress Tony for her work in Hollywood Arms. Her credits include Broadway's Hairspray, Mamma Mia!, Crazy For You, Cabaret and Off-Broadway’s The Paris Letter.

Manhattan Repertory Theatre is located in Manhattan at 303 West 42nd Street. For tickets, priced $20, visit www.carapaceisle.com or www.manhattanrep.com.
