The evening, set to begin at 7 PM, will kick off the company's five-week season at City Center. All proceeds from the event benefit children's educational programming and scholarships to The Ailey School.
Performances include Ailey's signature work, "Revelations," with live music featuring McDonald (Porgy and Bess), Rose (Caroline, Or Change) and Mitchell (Kiss Me, Kate); and Ohad Naharin's "Minus 16." Actress and comedian Mo'Nique serves as the gala's honorary chair.
Following the event at City Center will be dinner and dancing at the Hilton New York.
