The 2018–2019 season at Los Angeles' Hollywood Pantages, a Nederlander theatre, will feature seven musicals, including the 2017 Tony winner for Best Revival of a Musical, Hello Dolly!

The season will launch November 6 with the Los Angeles premiere of Alan Menken, Glenn Slater, and Chazz Palminteri's A Bronx Tale. Co-directed by Robert DeNiro and Jerry Zaks, performances will continue through November 25 before embarking on additional national tour stops.

Hello, Dolly!, the hit revival of the Jerry Herman classic, will follow. Also directed by Zaks, the production will play January 29–February 17, 2019. Who will step into the role of matchmaker Dolly Gallagher Levi has yet to be announced. Three-time Tony recipient Bernadette Peters recently succeeded Bette Midler in the Broadway production at the Shubert.

The new year will also bring the tour of the first-ever Broadway revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats. Original Broadway director Trevor Nunn and Tony-winning choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton) breathe new life into the hit musical, which will play the Pantages February 26-March 24.

The Los Angeles premiere of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which features a score by Tony winners Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman as well as music from the 1971 film, will be seen March 27–April 14. Jack O'Brien directs.

Joseph Stein, Jerry Bock, and Sheldon Harnick's Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Bartlett Sher, will be presented April 16–May 5, and the season will conclude with two productions from composers Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg: Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Les Miserables, directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell (May 7–June 2), and the Los Angeles premiere of Mackintosh's Broadway revival of Miss Saigon, also directed by Connor (July 16–August 11).
