Written and directed by Marc Meyers, the motion picture is currently shooting in Connecticut. Clark is featured in a cast that also boasts Robert Loggia, Barbara Barrie, Jack Carpenter, Arye Gross, Peter Friedman, Adriana Sevan, Kel O'Neill, Christine Evangelista and Daniel Eric Gold.
"Harvest," according to press notes, is "a drama about three generations of a family coming together one summer, around the eventual passing of the patriarch of the family, a WWII veteran. Told in part through the eyes of the grandson character, 'Harvest' is also a coming of age tale, a poignant story with great moments of humor as well."
Jody Girgenti and Marc Meyers are producing for Ibid Filmworks. The company's first film, "Approaching Union Square," will make its broadcast premiere on the Sundance Channel in November.
Clark, most recently on the New York stage in the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of The Marriage of Bette and Boo, received a 2005 Tony Award for her performance in The Light in the Piazza. Among Clark's screen credits are "The Happening," "Cradle Will Rock," "Law & Order," "Law & Order: SVU" and "Sweeney Todd in Concert." As a director, she helmed the 92nd Street Y's "Lyrics & Lyricists" series Serenade in Blue: The Mack Gordon Song Cavalcade. PS Classics released Clark's debut solo recording, "Fifteen Seconds of Grace," in November 2007. The actress also co-starred in the City Center Encores! production of Follies.
