On the April 18 broadcast of "American Idol," it was announced that Janelle Arthur had been eliminated from the competition after receiving the least number of votes. The top four finalists are Candice Glover, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb and Angie Miller.

The April 24 broadcast of "American Idol," the next round of the singing competition, will be broadcast 8-10 PM ET.

The April 25 results show will also begin at 8 PM ET; the final three finalists will be announced that evening.

Former "American Idol" contestants who have taken to Broadway after their stint on "Idol" include Fantasia Barrino (The Color Purple), Clay Aiken (Spamalot), Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages), Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray), Frenchie Davis (Rent) and Jordin Sparks (In the Heights) as well as former "Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi (Chicago), among others.
