News Topdog, with Mos Def and Wright, to Play London Suzan-Lori Parks' Pulitzer Prize-winning play Topdog/Underdog will have its day in London this summer, and with the cast that earned the work plaudits on Broadway: Jeffrey Wright and Mos Def.

The drama will play the Royal Court Aug 4-30, with an opening on Aug. 11. Director George C. Wolfe will repeat his duties.

Mos Def just ended his stay in Parks' latest work, Fucking A, at The Public Theater. The show closed on April 6.

As on Broadway, Mos Def will play Booth to Wright's Lincoln. The two unfortunately-named brothers inhabit a shabby boarding house room and a surreal urban landscape of three card monte dealers and side shows which employ Lincoln as a shooting gallery target, dressed up like his presidential namesake.

Wolfe last year directed Elaine Stritch in her London production of her solo show At Liberty.
