News Toronto's 2003 Dora Award Nominees Include Sweeney Todd, Contact The 2003 Dora Mavor Moore Awards nominees, representing outstanding work in the Toronto theatre community, were announced May 21, with CanStage's Sweeney Todd and the tour of Contact among recognized productions.

The Doras are broken into five general areas: General Theatre, Independent Theatre, Opera, Dance and TYA - Theatre Young Audiences. It is the most inclusive performing arts gathering the Toronto live arts community experiences every year.

The awards are administered by the Toronto Theatre Alliance. Winners will be announced June 23 at the Princess of Wales Theatre. A nominee list follows.
