This year's 20th annual Rhubarb Festival of innovative new works is being performed through Feb. 22 at Toronto's Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. The festival, which has been described by more than one critic as "theatrical mayhem," is directed by Franco Boni.

Up to eight works are performed nightly; the lineup includes Creed, Susan Smith Tapes, Batty Boy, Queenie, Beaver and 5500 Dogs.

Since it opened its doors in 1979, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre has had a mission to develop and produce new and radical Canadian plays. Buddies in Bad Times Theatre is located at 12 Alexander St.in Toronto. For tickets and nightly lineups, call (416) 975-8555.
