Catherine Cox, who starred in the Barrington premiere, told Playbill.com for an upcoming interview, "[My upcoming projects include] The Memory Show. It's a two-character musical about Alzheimer's (and, yes, it's touching and painfully funny). The music is by Zac Redler/lyrics by Sara Cooper and directed by Joe Calarco with Vadim Feichtner as musical director. It will be produced by The Transport Group (thank you, Jack Cummings) and open at the Duke Theater on 42nd St. in March of 2013. And, I have the pleasure to work with Leslie Kritzer."

No official announcement about the production has been made.

The Memory Show is by Zach Redler (music) and Sara Cooper (book and lyrics). Joe Calarco (The Burnt Part Boys, Shakespeare's R&J) directed the Barrington run.

The musical, according to previous production notes, "is a two-person comic tragedy about the complicated relationship between a woman who has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and her estranged daughter who moves back home to Brighton Beach to care for her. As the mother starts forgetting the present; her daughter begins remembering the past."

Cox's credits include Broadway's Footloose, Baby and Oh! Coward. Kritzer appeared in Broadway's Sondheim on Sondheim, A Catered Affair and Legally Blonde. The Barrington production had music direction by Vadim Feichtner (BSC's Spelling Bee and The Mysteries of Harris Burdick); scenic design by Brian Prather, costume design by Kristina Sneshkoff, lighting design by Joel Shier and sound design by Adair Mallory. Production stage manager is Michael Andrew Rodgers. Assistant director was Nick Potenzieri.
