Streaming Trevor: The Musical Streams on Disney+ June 24

The musical's Off-Broadway cast album is also now available to stream.

Trevor: The Musical arrives to stream for audiences everywhere with a dual film and album release June 24. Ghostlight Records releases the original cast recording of the musical, coinciding with the arrival of a filmed performance on Disney+ from the show's 2021 Off-Broadway run at Stage 42.

Featuring a book and lyrics by Dan Collins with music by Julianne Wick Davis, Trevor: The Musical follows 13-year-old Trevor as he struggles to navigate his own identity and to determine how he fits in a challenging world on a journey of self-discovery. Directed by Marc Bruni and featuring choreography by Josh Prince, the show is based on Celeste Lecesne and Peggy Rajski's 1995 Oscar-winning short film.

The filmed version of the show's Off-Broadway run is directed by Robin Mishkin Abrams and produced by RadicalMedia. Jon Kamen, Dave Sirulnick, Meredith Bennett, and Jonathan Meyers served as executive producers. As for the 19-track album, it was produced by Kurt Deutsch and Matt Deitchman, and includes orchestrations by Greg Pliska.

Holden William Hagelberger from Sugarland, Texas stars in the title role, and is joined in the cast by Mark Aguirre, Aaron Alcaraz, Ava Briglia, Sammy Dell, Tyler Joseph Gay, Ellie Kim, Colin Konstanty, Brigg Liberman, Diego Lucano, Alyssa Emily Marvin, Isabel Medina, Echo Deva Picone, Dan Rosales, Aryan Simhadri, Yasmeen Sulieman, Sally Wilfert, Aeriel Williams, and Jarrod Zimmerman.

The Off-Broadway production's creative team included scenic designer Donyale Werle, costume designer Mara Blumenfeld, lighting designer Peter Kaczorowski, sound designers Brian Ronan and Cody Spencer, and music director Matt Deitchman. Orchestrations were by Greg Pliska, with casting by Tara Rubin Casting. Producers were Roy Furman, John Ambrosino, Josie Bray, and Mark Woods
