News Tribute to Damon Intrabartolo Will Feature Megan Hilty, Constantine Maroulis, Stephen Trask, Ashley Spencer, Lesli Margherita and More Fly: A Musical Tribute to Damon Intrabartolo, the bare composer who passed away in August at age 39, will be presented Feb. 24, 2014, at 7 PM at Joe's Pub.

Intrabartolo's friends and collaborators — including Kristin Hanggi, Kelly Devine, Daniel Miles, Steve Saporito, Danny Feldman, Rye Mullis, Anthony Cantalupo and Ryan Raftery — are organizing the concert to raise awareness around the challenges of addiction and mental health, and to spread Intrabartolo's music.

Directed by Hanggi, the evening will feature the talents of Victoria Justice, Megan Hilty, Constantine Maroulis, Stephen Trask, Ashley Spencer, Wallace Smith, Lesli Margherita, Mitchell Jarvis, Monique Coleman, Brian Gallagher, Natalie Joy Johnson, Justin Sargent, Jenna Leigh Green, James Snyder, Teresa Stanley, Todd Buonopane and Katie Thompson.

Damon Intrabartolo orchestrated and conducted many film scores for composer Jon Ottman, including “The Usual Suspects,” “Halloween H2O,” “Lake Placid,” “X2: X-Men United,” “Fantastic Four” and “Superman Returns.” He also orchestrated and conducted “In Good Company” and the movie “Dreamgirls.” Intrabartolo's music for bare won him the Los Angeles Ovation Award, the Backstage Garland Award, the LA Drama Critics Award and the LA Weekly Award for Best Original Score and Best Musical.

The upcoming tribute will benefit the Damon Intrabartolo Fund, aiding those facing the challenges of addiction and mental health issues. The money raised will be donated for Crystal Meth Recovery and Mental Health Services through the Gay and Lesbian Center in the city of Los Angles, where Damon lived in for 15 years.
