"The story of Camelot still has a lot to say to us today," Trinity Rep artistic director Curt Columbus said in a statement. "Trinity Rep’s reimagining of this classic American musical will show audiences the power at the core of the story. We will be stripping away all of the expected trappings of traditional knights and fair maidens to focus on the complicated love triangle set in a world of political intrigue."
The season will also feature the world premiere of The Completely Fictional—Utterly True—Final Strange Tale of Edgar Allan Poe, penned by Trinity Rep resident acting company member Stephen Thorne.
