The Lion King Tony nominee Tsidii Le Loka and The Color Purple's Chaz Shepherd co-host the amateur singing competition, which begins at 7:30 PM.

Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk's Jason Samuels Smith is the evening's special guest performer.

"Aspiring singers, dancers and actors will hit the legendary Apollo stage attempting to impress the notoriously tough Amateur Night audience with their version of Broadway classics," according to Apollo notes.

"Broadway Night is the perfect fit for Amateur Night because the Apollo has such a long-standing relationship with the Broadway community," stated Amateur Night producer Marion J. Caffey. "Many of our Apollo legends have gone on to star in Broadway shows, including Stephanie Mills, Leslie Uggams and Diahann Carroll."
