Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard's comedy, A Tuna Christmas, will play at San Francisco's Marines Memorial Theatre, Dec. 11-22, 1996. The play, a sequel to their 1982 Off-Broadway hit, Greater Tuna, played for a limited run at Broadway's Booth Theatre in Dec. 1994 and toured the U.S. in 1995. The story concerns the "delightfully eccentric residents of Tuna, Texas, as they attempt to cope with a blizzard of seasonal traumas."

As they did on Broadway, Jaston Williams and Tony-nominated Joe Sears will portray all 20-plus characters.

Chosen as a Guernsey/Mantle "Best Play," A Tuna Christmas features "rednecks, eccentrics, bigots, crazies, misfits and malcontents" in a small town where the Lions Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies.
