QED, which was previously announced under the title of Tuva Or Bust, will have its world premiere at the Mark Taper Forum March 22 and will run through May 13, with the Forum's artistic director Gordon Davidson helming the production. The play by Peter Parnell is based on Ralph Leighton's book "Tuva Or Bust" and other writings of Richard Feynman. Alan Alda stars as the gloriously eccentric, Nobel Prize-winning Feynman. Once referred to as the "bongo-playing raconteur and genius of quantum electrodynamics," Feynman, a much-renowned professor of physics, was a unique man whose intellectual curiosity and infectious enthusiasm for life and all its mysteries provided a profound insight into the creative and imaginative nature of the scientific mind.
