News TV Adaptation of Gibson's "Monday After The Miracle" to Air on CBS Nov. 15 CBS will air Deena Goldstone's adaptation of William Gibson's Monday After the Miracle Nov. 15.

CBS will air Deena Goldstone's adaptation of William Gibson's Monday After the Miracle Nov. 15. Roma Downey and Moira Kelly star as Annie Sullivan and Helen Keller, respectively, with Bill Campbell as John Macy and Christina Pickles as Kate Keller.

A Miracle Worker sequel, Monday After the Miracle takes place 16 years after The Miracle Worker, with Keller now a young woman and Sullivan interested in a life of her own with Macy. Keller and Sullivan discover, however, that they are inseperably bound as Keller earns money and success and Sullivan's marriage falls apart.

Monday After the Miracle was first presented at the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina, before opening on Broadway Dec. 14, 1982. Jane Alexander and Karen Allen starred, but the play closed after only 7 performances.

"Monday After the Miracle" airs on CBS at 9 PM EST.
