News TV One Will Air "Day Break," with Taye Diggs, in March "Day Break" – the short-lived ABC television program starring Broadway actor Taye Diggs – has been picked up by the TV One network.

Only six of the 13 "Day Break" episodes were aired on ABC in 2007. TV One is a new cable/satellite television network primarily targeted to African-American adults, presenting a mix of original and acquired programming. TV One will air all 13 episodes of the series. Diggs stars as Brett Hopper in the déjà vu-themed series, which finds his character accused of fatally shooting state attorney Alberto Garza. The day continually starts over at 6:18 AM as Hopper attempts to solve the mystery of Garza's murder and clear his own name. Each of his decisions change the future in some way.

Taye Diggs has appeared on Broadway in Wicked, Carousel, Rent and Chicago. He received an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for his performance in Off-Broadway's The Wild Party and was also seen in A Soldier's Play. Diggs' screen credits include "Private Practice," "Rent," "Kevin Hill," "How Stella Got Her Groove Back," "The Best Man," "The Way of the Gun," "House on a Haunted Hill," "The Wood," "Go," "Brown Sugar" and "Chicago."
