News TV/Stage Actor Gale Harold's Condition Is Improving Following Accident Television and stage actor Gale Harold, who was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Oct. 14, is improving, according to the Associated Press.

The "Desperate Housewives" star who was seen Off-Broadway in the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Tennessee Williams' Suddenly Last Summer suffered a fractured shoulder and swelling on the brain following the accident. Harold is currently under observation in the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. Officials at the hospital told AP that Harold will be transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center once a room becomes available.

Harold gained national fame on the Showtime series "Queer as Folk." He currently plays Teri Hatcher's new boyfriend on the hit ABC series "Desperate Housewives."
