News TV's Ackles Joins Phillips for A Few Good Men Jensen Ackles, who stars on TV's "Supernatural," will join the previously announced Lou Diamond Phillips for the Casa Mañana's upcoming production of A Few Good Men.

Ackles will portray Lt. Daniel Kaffee opposite Phillips' Colonel Nathan R. Jessep. A Few Good Men will play the Fort Worth, Texas, venue June 5-10.

Ackles received the Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Male Newcomer for his work on "Days of Our Lives." His other screen credits include "Supernatural," "Smallville," "Dawson's Creek" and "Dark Angel." The actor recently completed filming "Ten Inch Hero."

Phillips received a Tony nomination for his role in the 1996 Broadway revival of The King and I. He is best known for such movies as "La Bamba," "Young Guns," "Courage Under Fire" and "Stand and Deliver."

A Few Good Men ran on Broadway for 15 previews and 497 performances from 1989-91 at the Music Box Theatre. The Casa Mañana website describes the play as such: "Two Marines are charged in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay. Their Navy appointed lawyer, a callow young man more interested in playing games than the case, expects a plea bargain and a cover up of what really happened. Prodded by the members of his defense team, the lawyer eventually makes a valiant effort to defend his clients and, in so doing, puts the military mentality and the Marine code of honor on trial."
