News TV's "Wonder Woman" to Join London Chicago She may have long-ago ditched the bullet-proof bracelets and the red starred tiara, but Lynda Carter is still best known to millions as TV’s Wonder Woman.

As a major movie version of the comic-book heroine nears the big-screens (for 2007), Carter has cast aside her wholesome image in favor of a low-cut top and a little corruption. She will soon be the new Mama Morton in the London staging of Chicago. Fifty-four year-old Carter starred in “Wonder Woman” from 1976 to 1979, and recently took a role in the cinematic “The Dukes of Hazzard” remake as Pauline. She’ll join the London cast of the Kander and Ebb musical — which will also include Amra-Faye Wright, Sally Ann Triplett, Terence Maynard and Victor McGuire — Sept. 26 and play through Nov. 22.
