Originally scheduled to run through Feb. 3, Wanda's World recently announced it would add an additional week of performances through Feb. 10. Amas Musical Theatre and Terry Schnuck present the musical penned by Beth Falcone and Eric H. Weinberger, which will officially open Jan. 23. First developed within the BMI Lehman Engel Workshop, Wanda's World – a new musical for "tween" audiences – features Sandie Rosa as Wanda, Lakisha Anne Bowen, Jennifer Bowles, Michael Dexter, James Royce Edwards, Leo Ash Evans, Devin Ilaw, Heather Jane Rolff, Christine Scharf, Chris Vettel and Valerie Wright.

With music and lyrics by Falcone and a book by Weinberger, Wanda's World follows Wanda Butternut, a young girl with a birthmark on her face who dreams of being accepted by her fellow classmates. In her fantasy life Wanda creates her own talk show where she helps other kids solve their problems. However, her real life is a different story, and Wanda finds that her schoolmates still judge a book by its cover.

The musical's creative team includes Douglas Oberhamer (musical direction), Beowulf Boritt (set design), Jennifer Carpio (costume design), Aaron Spivey (lighting design), Brett Jarvis (sound design) and Matthew Myhrum (video design).

Tickets for Wanda's World are available by calling (212) 352-3101. The 45th Street Theatre is located in Manhattan at 54 West 45th Street.
