LOS ANGELES -- Oh boy, does L.A. have The Sisters Rosensweig.

In the next four weeks not one but two productions of the Wendy Wasserstein comedy will be seen at local Equity-waiver houses.

The first will be launched Sept. 4 at Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills, the second Oct. 1 at the Century City Playhouse.

At Theatre 40, director Jodi Binstock has cast Katherine Henry, Hannah Logan and Sheryl Nieman in the leads, joined by William Gratton, John McCormack, Todd C. Mooney, Amy Ryder and Joshua Schulman.

At Century City Playhouse, director Jules Aaron has tapped Norma J. Morrow, Ann Raphael-Walker and Laura Owens as the three competing sisters. Others in the cast include Gildart Jackson, Milton Jones, Jennifer Kramer, Walter Lewis and H.M. Wynant as Mervyn. Theatre 40's performance schedule is Thurs.-Sat. 8 PM; Sun. 2 PM.
