In celebration of its upcoming milestone, Avenue Q—which began its New York life Off-Broadway at the Vineyard, then transferred to Broadway’s Golden Theatre, and then returned Off-Broadway—is offering $30 tickets and throwing a 3,000th performance Bar Mitzvah Bash with a pre-show ceremony January 12. A secret celebrity guest is also expected to join the celebration at New World Stages, where the musical comedy is currently playing. The Tony-winning show, about a group of puppets trying to make it in the big city, is created by Robert Lopez, Jeff Marx, Jeff Whitty, Jason Moore, and Ken Roberson.

As of January 15, Gazillion Bubble Show will have played 3,882 performances Off-Broadway, ahead of entering its 10th year of production February 12. The family-friendly show features bubble magic and laser lighting effects and is created and performed by Fan Yang, Ana Yang, Deni Yang, Melody Yang, and Jano Yang. Gazillion Bubble Show also plays New World Stages.
