CHICAGO -- Evanston, Chicago's oldest and biggest suburb, can look forward to two more venues when the Church Street Plaza development opens later this year, inaugurating a two-theatre performing arts center. Part of a $75 million project that includes a hotel, a senior citizens center and a 16-screen multiplex, the plaza will feature a 350-seat mainstage theatre, a 150- seat studio and 1,500 feet of gallery/lobby space.
Lookingglass Theatre, Organic Touchstone Company and Apple Tree Theatre are talking with the developers about posssible resident status.
