News Two Roads' Speed-The-Plow Halts in L.A., Feb. 25 David Mamet's scathing look at Hollywood, Speed-The-Plow, that is being revived at Two Roads Theatre in NoHo, will close Feb. 25. The three-character, 90 minute work is directed by Jeff Becko and stars Tom Vitorino, Graham Elwood and Laura Katz, all of whom trained together at Playhouse West, a local drama school.

David Mamet's scathing look at Hollywood, Speed-The-Plow, that is being revived at Two Roads Theatre in NoHo, will close Feb. 25. The three-character, 90 minute work is directed by Jeff Becko and stars Tom Vitorino, Graham Elwood and Laura Katz, all of whom trained together at Playhouse West, a local drama school.

Vitorino comes from a musical family. He has been seen Off-Broadway in Nuts and Twelve Angry Men, and has also appeared on TV's "Port Charles" and "Moesha."

Elwood is a stand-up comic as well as an actor; he can be seen regularly at the Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory and Comedy Store. He is also the host of USA Networks' "Strip Poker."

Katz is the daughter of a film historian and has worked in films, TV and commercials. She has a recurring role on "New Adventures of Robin Hood."
