News Understudies from Beautiful, Les Miserables, Book of Mormon, Aladdin Stand in the Spotlight April 7 Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway standbys, understudies and alternates April 7 at 7 PM with its latest edition of At This Performance…, which is held at The Lion Theatre.

Hosted by series producing artistic director and casting director Stephen DeAngelis, the series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences.

Performers include Joshua Dela Cruz (understudy for the role of Aladdin in Aladdin), A. J. Holmes (standby for the role of Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon), Mia Sinclair Jenness (understudy for the roles of Young Eponine and Little Cosette in Les Miserables), Donald Jones Jr. (understudy for the role of the Genie in Aladdin), Sara King (understudy for the role of Cynthia Weil in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Gabrielle McClinton (understudy for the role of The Leading Player in Pippin), Melissa O'Neil (understudy for the role of Eponine and Fantine in Les Miserables), Chris Peluso (understudy for the roles of Gerry Goffin, Barry Mann and Don Kirschner in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Gabrielle Reid (understudy for the role of Janelle Woods in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) and Dennis Stowe (understudy for the roles of Jafar and the Sultan in Aladdin).

The musical director/accompanist for the evening is Eugene Gwozdz.

The Lion Theatre is located at 410 W. 42nd St. Tickets are $26.25 each and are available through Telecharge (212) 239-6200 or at the Box Office on the evening of performance.
