News Understudies from Kinky Boots, First Date, Spider-Man, Pippin, Cinderella and More Will Stand in the Spotlight Musicals Tonight! will continue its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway standbys, understudies and alternates Oct. 14 with its next edition of At This Performance, which will be presented at 7 PM at The Lion Theatre.

Eric Ankrim

Hosted by series producing artistic director and casting director Stephen DeAngelis, the concert will feature musical direction and accompaniment by Eugene Gwozdz.

Scheduled to perform and share anecdotes about their experiences are Eric Ankrim (standby for the roles of Aaron, Man #1, Man #2 and Man #3 in First Date), Michelle Dawson (understudy for the role of Arachne in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark), Andy Jones (understudy for the role of Prince Topher in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella), Kevin Smith Kirkwood (understudy for the role of Lola in Kinky Boots), Ellyn Marie Marsh (understudy for the roles of Lauren and Pat in Kinky Boots), Vasthy Mompoint (understudy for the role of Nina Simone in Soul Doctor), Bethany Moore (understudy for the role of Catherine in Pippin), Carla Stickler (understudy for the role of Elphaba in Wicked), Julius Thomas III (understudy for the role of Berry Gordy in Motown the Musical), Billy Harrigan Tighe (understudy for the role of Pippin in Pippin), Branch Woodman (understudy for the roles of Lord Pinkleton and Sebastian in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella) and Candice Marie Woods (understudy for the role of Nabalungi in The Book of Mormon).
