Tonight Broadway welcomes back the Burton Lane/Alan Jay Lerner Musical On a Clear Day You Can See Forever for its first-ever Broadway revival. This supernatural story about hypnosis and past lives was a collaboration between composer Burton Lane (Finian's Rainbow) and lyricist-librettist Alan Jay Lerner (My Fair Lady, Camelot) but the new revival has a new book by Peter Parnell that substantially changes one of the play's central relationships. You can compare the original production with the revival in the Playbill Vault, under "Shows." For the revival we've added the ability to look inside the actual pages of the current Playbill, and view production photos, headshots of the actors, web links, a rundown on how the show is doing at the box office — even a photo of the theatre's marquee.
