Conceived and directed by Ben West (The Fig Leaves Are Falling, At Home Abroad), the concert — described as a "new behind-the-scenes look at the unfinished musical" — begins at 7:30 PM.

The cast includes Pilin Anice, Anastasia Barzee (Jekyll & Hyde), Obie Award winner Donna Bullock (Ragtime, A Class Act), Alicia Charles, Rachel de Benedet (Catch Me if You Can), Drama Desk nominee Kevin Earley (Death Takes A Holiday, Secondhand Lions), Marjorie Failoni, Becky Gulsvig (Legally Blonde), Drama Desk nominee Garrett Long (South Pacific), Matt Lutz (Bonnie & Clyde), Sarah Kay Marchetti (Radio City Christmas Spectacular), Joseph Medeiros (Guys and Dolls), Lizz Picini, Drama Desk nominee Jenny Powers (Donnybrook!, ...It’s Superman), Kirstin Tucker (Cinderella), Ryan VanDenBoom (Annie), Tiffany Westlie, Teal Wicks (Wicked, Jekyll & Hyde), Michael Williams (Wicked), Jonathan Burke (A Christmas Story), Amy Hohn (November), Chris LeBeau, Kilty Reidy (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Cary Shields (Taboo, Rent).

Caesar's Wife, according to UMC, "is a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the original, unfinished musical that told the real story behind the assassination. Blending live performances with audio clips of the songwriters’ original demo recording as well as original author correspondence, production outlines and authors' notes, this world premiere concert of Caesar's Wife is a unique exploration inside the artistic process of two legendary authors!"

The UMC presentation features choreography by Richard J. Hinds, musical direction and vocal and dance arrangements by Benet Braun, lighting design by Joe Hodge and sound design by Josh Liebert.
