Promotional postcard for The Queen Bee's Last Stand

Urban Stages, original producers of Men on the Verge of a HIs-Panic Breakdown, will explore the myriad of reasons mail does not arrive on time with Rob Santana's The Queen Bee's Last Stand or Why Your Mail Is Sometimes Late, running Sept. 5-Oct. 3 at the Blue Heron Arts Center OOB. Urban Stages producing director T.L. Reilly directs. A former postal worker himself, Santana's Queen Bee explains why the mail sometimes doesn't arrive. With the holidays approaching, the graveyard shift at a Manhattan post office doesn't quite get the mail out as they battle each other over relationships and sexual harassment. Santana's Bomber Jackets was produced in 1997 Off-Broadway by the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre Company.

The cast includes two Roundabout alums, Valorie Hubbard (The Crucible) and Carlo D'Amore (Summer and Smoke) with Ibi Janko, K.C. Ramsey and Michael Alexis Palmer.

Designing Queen Bee are Megan Ingalls (set), Kevin Brainerd (costumes), Jason Boyd (lighting) and Johnna Doty (sound).

Tickets ($15) are available by calling (212) 755-0541. Urban Stages is on the web at http://www.mint.net/urbandstages. The Blue Heron Arts Center is located at 123 E. 24th Street.
