John Cullum.

Cullum is a Broadway veteran of such shows as Shenandoah and On the Twentieth Century — both of which garnered him Tony Awards. His turn in the current musical Urinetown also garnered him a Tony nomination. Other credits include Camelot, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, Boys in Autumn, Hamlet, 1776, All My Sons, Show Boat and Old Money. In the episode, " Appearances," Cullum plays a defense lawyer and one time law school professor of the Assistant District Attorney he opposes in court. The role may become recurring for the actor, according to NBC press manager Jim Dowd.

"Law and Order: SVU" stars Richard Belzer, Dann Florek, Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, Stephanie March, Christopher Meloni and Broadway's B.D. Wong (M. Butterfly, Face Value, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown).

Frank Langella (Fortune's Fool) will also appear on the NBC drama, March 28.
