News USA Composers Scott Evan Davis, Georgia Stitt and Michael Patrick Walker to Be Celebrated at London's Hippodrome U.S. musical theatre composers Scott Evan Davis, Georgia Stitt and Michael Patrick Walker will have their work celebrated in London in a one-off performance, taking place Aug. 19, under the umbrella title An Evening with the Composers at the new London Hippodrome Casino's Matcham Room as part of the Live at the Hippodrome season.

It is produced by Simon Greiff (of SimG Productions), in association with Live at the Hippodrome, who has previously presented two shows celebrating U.K. British musical theatre writers.

The evening will feature live performances by all three composers joined by West End performers that include Lauren Samuels, Caroline Sheen, Stuart Matthew Price and Simon Thomas.

Scott Evan Davis is an actor-turned-songwriter, who has apppeared at Birdland and Don’t Tell Mama in New York. His debut album is "Cautiously Optimistic," and a staged revue of his work Picture Perfect is scheduled in New York next fall.

Georgia Stitt is a composer, lyricist, music director and record producer. Her musical Big Red Sun won the Harold Arlen Award in 2005 and was a NAMT Festival winner in 2010, while The Water won the 2008 ANMT Search for New Voices in American Musical Theater. The musical Mosaic (written by Stitt and Cheri Steinkellner) ran Off-Broadway in 2010.

Michael Patrick Walker is the co-composer/lyricist (with Gary Adler) of the Off-Broadway musical, Altar Boyz, which ran Off-Broadway for over 2,000 performances between 2005 and 2010. He is the composer/lyricist of the upcoming musicals Dog And Pony and Being Theo and has also penned songs for the Disney TV Channel's "Johnny And The Sprites." His debut album is called "Out Of Context."
