News USC's Tommy Awards to Honor Producer Kevin McCollum University of Southern California alumni, including Hair's Bryce Ryness and Cry-Baby's James Snyder, will gather in New York for the first annual Tommy Awards.

Presented at New World Stages on June 29, the Tommy Awards (named for USC mascot Tommy Trojan) will honor Tony-winning Broadway producer Kevin McCollum (In the Heights, Avenue Q, [title of show]), filmmaker Andy Tennant, Sheryl Staples of the New York Philharmonic, Steve Smith of the New York Giants and John Blair of Credit Suisse.

James Snyder (Cry-Baby) will host the event with performances by Bryce Ryness (Hair), Kyle Barisich (Phantom of the Opera), Katie Coleman, Danielle Faitelson and Meredith Anderson.

The Tommy Awards will feature new music from Tony nominee Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy), Kirsten Guenther (Mrs. Sharp), Ryan Scott Oliver (Mrs. Sharp), Jeffy Thomson and Jordan Mann (Pump Up the Volume) and Rebekah Melocik (Group Therapy).

The 7:30 PM evening is directed and produced by Michael Schwartz, and executive produced by Kate Russo.
