Janet Brenner and Neil Danoff co-produce the 3 PM invitation-only reading of the new musical with the York Theatre Company. Fiction in Photographs is directed by Redd, who also conceived the musical that has music and lyrics by Dan Mills.

Dan Elish, who authored the book to the Jason Robert Brown musical 13, has joined the Fiction in Photographs creative team as book writer.

The cast will feature Cole Burden, Van Hughes, David Larsen, Lauren Pritchard and Ali Stroker. Adam Podd is musical director.

The dynamic words and music of acclaimed singer-songwriter Dan Mills are the centerpiece of this original pop musical that tells the story of five twentysomethings as they struggle to untangle the complications of life, work and love in Brooklyn. Fiction in Photographs is about telling the truth, facing the music and growing up."

Redd played Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet Off-Broadway, while Mills was seen as Carl Perkins on Broadway and Off. Redd is also the co-author of What's That Smell: The Music Of Jacob Sterling. Visit yorktheatre.org.
