Classic Arts News Vancouver Opera Announces 2005-06 Season Vancouver Opera will present Puccini's Turandot, Poulenc's Dialogues of the Carmelites, Mozart's Don Giovanni, and Gunoud's Faust in 2005-06.
In addition, the company will co-produce a concert version of Weber's Der Freischutz with Festival Vancouver.

Turandot, a revival of the company's 1997 production, will star Audrey Stottler in her Vancouver debut. Dialogues of the Carmelites will be seen in Tazewell Thompson's staging, which debuted at Glimmerglass Opera and came to New York City Opera this year. Don Giovanni stars baritone Brett Polegato and soprano Angela Fout; Faust, conducted by Yannick Nezet-Sequin, will star soprano Erin Marie Wall.
