Williams will promote her upcoming recording, "Silver & Gold," with seven shows at the famed Broadway theatre. Billboard reports that the singer-actress will play the Palace Dec. 1-5. She will also promote her new recording, a Christmas set, on QVC Sept. 14. "Silver & Gold" will be released on the Lava Records label Oct. 12; the label will also release a second album by Williams in February 2005. That disc will feature classic love songs from the seventies.

About her new deal with Lava, Williams told Billboard, "I had been looking for the right deal for a few years. That meant being allowed to do all the things that I do and being appreciated for it. I don't live and breathe only in the music world, and thankfully [so], because it's gone through some tremendous ups and downs, and I'm 41. You can't have longevity all that time."

The complete track listing for "Silver & Gold" follows:
"Silver and Gold"
"Joy the World" featuring Brian McKnight
"Mary's Boy Child"
"Silent Night"
"Winter Weather"
"Drummer Boy"
"Merry Christmas Darling"
"Rise Up Shepherd"
"I Dream a World"
"December Lullaby"
"The Holly and the Ivy"
"Christmas Is"
"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

A Tony Award nominee for her role in Into the Woods, Williams has also appeared on Broadway in Kiss of the Spider Woman and in the City Center Encores! production of St. Louis Woman. Williams' screen credits include roles in "Soul Food," "Eraser," "Dance with Me" and "Shaft."
