Rock plays the AA sponsor of a recently paroled alcoholic (Bobby Cannavale), who is struggling to remain sober while maintaining the relationship with his long-time girlfriend (Elizabeth Rodriguez). When the unseen eponymous character, a ladies man, leaves his hat behind, havoc ensues as relationships are tested and moral ambiguities come to light.
