The two actors will join the cast of the Tony-winning musical August 1 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Casey Cott, who plays the theatre-obsessed Kevin Keller on the long-running TV series Riverdale, will make his Broadway debut August 1 in the Tony-winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

Cott, also seen in the title role of the 2019 Kennedy Center staging of The Who's Tommy, will step into the role of Christian for a limited engagement through December 3. August 1 will also mark the starting date of Courtney Reed as the new Satine. Reed, also seen in Aladdin, will join the musical's Broadway company after originating the role in the first national tour, which launched last year.

Prior to their arrival, get a sneak peek of Cott and Reed singing "Come What May" in rehearsal in the video above.

Cott and Reed will succeed Derek Klena and Joanna “JoJo” Levesque, who play their final performances July 30 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

The Broadway company also features Eric Anderson as Harold Zidler, André Ward as Toulouse-Lautrec, David Harris as The Duke of Monroth, Ricky Rojas as Santiago, and Sophie Carmen-Jones as Nini. Oyoyo Joi is the Satine Alternate.

The production is directed by Alex Timbers with a book by John Logan (based on the Baz Luhrmann-directed movie of the same name) and choreography by Sonya Tayeh. The score features covers of "Fireworks" by Katy Perry, "Your Song" by Elton John, and "Chandelier" by Sia, among many other modern pop songs. The story takes place at Paris' famed Moulin Rouge and follows the tragic love story between performer Satine and composer Christian.

The production's music team includes musical supervisor Justin Levine, music producer Matt Stine, and music director Julie McBride. Orchestrations are by Levine, Stine, Katie Kresek, and Charlie Rosen, with dance arrangements by Levine and Stine.

Also on the creative team are scenic designer Derek McLane, costume designer Catherine Zuber, lighting designer Justin Townsend, sound designer Peter Hylenski, hair designer David Brian Brown, and makeup designer Sarah Cimino, with creative services by Luhrmann and Catherine Martin. Casting is by Jim Carnahan and Stephen Kopel.
