Broadway News Video: Amber Ardolino Performs 'Forever in Blue Jeans' From Broadway's A Beautiful Noise

The former Back to the Future actor will star in the Neil Diamond biomusical next month.

Although Broadway ensemblist Amber Ardolino doesn't join the cast of Broadway's A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical until next year, the production has already released footage of the actor performing "Forever in Blue Jeans." Watch Ardolino's take on the Diamond tune in the video above.

As previously reported, Ardolino will start the new year in her first principal Broadway role, joining the jukebox biomusical January 2, 2024, as Marcia Murphey, the former wife of Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Diamond (played in the show by American Idol winner Nick Fradiani). Ardolino's Broadway credits include Back to the Future, Moulin Rouge!, Hamilton, and Funny Girl.

Ardolino succeeds Tony nominee Robyn Hurder, who played her final performance December 17.

A Beautiful Noise takes a look at the life of Diamond then and now, accompanied by hits from his decades-long career in popular music. All songs are written or co-written by Neil Diamond. Tony winner Michael Mayer directs the musical, which officially opened at the Broadhurst Theatre one year ago, December 4, 2022.

The other cast members of A Beautiful Noise includes Tony nominee Mark Jacoby as Neil Diamond–Now, and Shirine Babb as Doctor, along with Jessie Fisher, Michael McCormick, Tom Alan Robbins, and Bri Sudia.
