This week, School of Rock guitar prodigy Brandon Niederauer paid tribute to the late great artist Jimi Hendrix on the anniversary of his groundbreaking “Star Spangled Banner” performance at Woodstock.

In the videos below, team Playbill joined up with the theatre community for Covenant House’s Broadway Sleep Out benefiting homeless teens, student performers at the York Theatre Company’s Summer Intensive program learned to sing from Spring Awakening with Deaf West’s American Sign Language translation and new Something Rotten! cast members Rob McClure, Josh Grisetti, Leslie Kritzer, Catherine Brunell and Will Chase performed at Broadway in Bryant Park.
