News Vincentelli Named Chief Drama Critic at NY Post Elisabeth Vincentelli, the arts and entertainment editor of Time Out New York, is the new chief drama critic at The New York Post, according to Michael Riedel, the paper's theatre writer.

Vincentelli, of Brooklyn, replaces longtime Post theatre critic Clive Barnes, who died in 2008. Her first review for the Post will be Guys and Dolls, which opens on Broadway April 1.

According to the blog she keeps (The Determined Dilettante, at blogspot.com), Vincentelli grew up in France and has lived in the U.S. for 20 years. On her blog, she comments on theatre, dance, film, music, books and more.

Her arts and culture writing has appeared in the Village Voice, The Los Angeles Times, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, The Wire, The Believer, Slate, Time Out NY and other publications. She started as music editor at Time Out NY, before rising to arts and entertainment editor. She has also contributed to the Sunday Arts blog for Thirteen (http://www.thirteen.org/sundayarts/blog/).

Vincentelli is also the author of "ABBA Gold," a 2004 book (part of Continuum International Publishing Group's "33-1/3" series) about the pop group's famous greatest-hits album.
