News Voices from the Great White Way Series Launches April 9 The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within the West Bank Café, launches a new concert series April 9.

Entitled Voices from the Great White Way, the series features one-night-only concerts with Broadway performers. The series kicks off April 9 with Les Misérables' Nikki Renee Daniels; she will be followed by Wicked's Kristy Cates (April 23) and Nine's Farah Alvin (April 30). Show time for each performance is 7 PM.

Nikki Renee Daniels has been seen on Broadway in Les Misérables, Aida, Nine, Lestat, The Look of Love and Little Shop of Horrors. She played Clara in the New York City Opera production of Porgy and Bess, and her regional credits include roles in Anything Goes, Beauty and the Beast and Ragtime.

Kristy Cates made her Broadway debut in the ensemble of Wicked, where she was also the standby for the role of Elphaba, a role she later played in the Chicago production of the hit musical. Off-Broadway the singer-actress was seen in Boobs! The Musical, and her regional credits include john and jen and Into the Woods. A graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Cates recently took part in an evening of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Unexpected Songs at Joe's Pub.

Farah Alvin has been seen on Broadway in Nine, The Look of Love, Saturday Night Fever and Grease! and Off-Broadway in I Love You Because, Kuni-leml, Cam Jansen and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. She played Mabel in Goodspeed's Mack and Mabel and was also seen in Madison Square Garden's A Christmas Carol.
