News Waiting for Godot Officially Opens Nov. 16 The 50th anniversary production of Waiting for Godot, the classic Samuel Beckett play, officially opens Nov. 16 at Off-Broadway's Theatre at St. Clement's.

Developed at the Actors Studio and directed by Alan Hruska, the production, which began previews Nov. 8, will play a limited ten-week engagement. The cast comprises Samuel Coppola (as Vladimir), Joseph Ragno (as Estragon), Ed Setrakian (as Pozzo) and Martin Shakar (as Lucky). The creative team also includes Ken Foy (scenic designer), Ann Hould-Ward (costume designer) and Paul Miller (lighting designer). Producers are Petina Cole; Red Horse Productions, LLC; Leonard Soloway; Steven M. Levy; and Rock and a Hard Place Productions, LLC.

Samuel Coppola has appeared on Broadway in That Championship Season, The Cane-Mutiny Court Martial and Glengarry Glen Ross. Joseph Ragno was seen in the Broadway mountings of The Iceman Cometh and Indians. Ed Setrakian's Broadway credits include Salome, Almost an Eagle, Days in the Trees, St. Joan and The Lovers. Martin Shakar covered three roles in Democracy and was also seen on Broadway in Our Town, Nightwatch and Richard III.

The Theatre at St. Clement's is located at 423 West 46th Street between Ninth and Tenth Avenues. The performance schedule is Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2:30 PM and Sundays at 3 PM. Tickets, priced at $55, are available by calling (212) 239-6200.
