News Wally Dunn to Head Cast of Hangar Theatre's November Casting has been announced for the Hangar Theatre's upcoming production of David Mamet's November, which will begin performances at the Ithaca, NY, venue July 8.

Directed by artistic director Peter Flynn, performances will continue through July 18.

The cast will feature Wally Dunn (Broadway's Spamalot, Gypsy) as the cheerfully corrupt President Charles Smith with Sharon Eisman as Clarice Bernstein, Jesse Bush as Archer Brown and Ryan Garcia as Indian Chieftain Dwight Grackle.

November, press notes state, concerns "an unpopular president up for re-election, Charles Smith [who] is just days away from a major presidential election. With a party that's already turned its back on the commander-in-chief, an absent speechwriter, and poll numbers that are tanking, can he raise $1 million and ensure his re-election? Smith hatches a scheme to pardon a turkey for Thanksgiving Day for a potload of cash but a myriad of mishaps stand in his way. Taking politically incorrect to a whole new extreme, this rip-roaring comedy will sure to have audiences voting 'yes.'"

The production will feature set design by Julia Noulin-Mérat, costume design by Jennifer Caprio, lighting design by Ed Intemann and sound design by Eric Watkins.

The Mamet work, according to the Hangar, "contains adult language and is not recommended for children or sensitive adults." Tickets may be purchased at the Ticket Center at 171 E. State St., by calling (607) 273-4497 or by visiting www.hangartheatre.org.
