Staged by Kate Galvin, the Walnut Street production will play through March 2 in Philadelphia.

The Broadway hit, which was Tony-nominated for Best Play, centers on a wealthy Republican family whose Palm Springs holiday celebration is derailed when their liberal daughter arrives with her new memoir that seeks to unveil a painful secret.

Crumb has appeared on Broadway in Aspects of Love, Anna Karenina, Les Misérables and Chess. She frequently appears on the Philadelphia-area stage.

The cast of Other Desert Cities also features Susan Wilder and Greg Wood as Polly and Lyman Wyeth, respectively, with Krista Apple and Matteo Scammell, as their grown children, Brook and Trip.

Other Desert Cities has scenic design by Todd Edward Ivins, lighting design by Thom Weaver, costume design by Colleen Grady and sound design by Christopher Colucci.

The original Broadway cast featured Stockard Channing, Stacy Keach and Judith Light, who earned a Tony Award for playing Silda. The role was originated Off-Broadway by Linda Lavin.
