News Wasserstein, Roth Discuss Effects of Motherhood on Work Playwright Wendy Wasserstein and producer Daryl Roth will be part of an April 19 panel discussing how motherhood influences one's life and work.

The event will take place at the UJA-Federation of New York's Annual Gala Spring Luncheon at the Mandarin Oriental in Manhattan. Film producer Meryl Poster will also be a panelist. Dr. Robi Ludwig will moderate. Roth has produced dozens of plays on and Off-Broadway, including the current Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. Her son is Jordan Roth, also a theatrical producer.

Wasserstein is the author of The Heidi Chronicles, The Sisters Rosensweig, An American Daughter, Old Money and the upcoming Third. Her daughter Lucy was born in 1999.
