In Gifford and Hoda Kotb’s “Everyone Has A Story” segment, the hosts shared the story of Scheer and Comfort Cases, a nonprofit that provides children in the foster-care system with backpacks containing essential items for everyday life. Scheer also discussed his own experiences in the foster-care system and how he adopted his four children from foster care.
