Tony Award winner Betty Buckley, seen on screen earlier this year in M. Night Shyamalan’s Split, has a recurring role in the new season of the CW series Supergirl.
The Sunset Boulevard and Cats star plays Patricia Arias, the adoptive mother of Samantha Arias (Odette Annable). Buckley makes her first appearance on the November 20 episode. TVLine shared a clip from the episode; take a look above.
Buckley offered singular performances in Broadway's Sunset Boulevard, Carrie, Song & Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, 1776, Triumph of Love, and Promises, Promises. She won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in the Broadway production of Cats, and she starred on the London stage in Promises, Promises, Dear World, and Sunset Boulevard, earning an Olivier Award nomination for her work in the latter.
