Panic! At the Disco frontman Brendon Urie stepped into Broadway’s Kinky Boots May 26, assuming the role of Charlie Price in the Tony-winning musical.

As part of the Billboard on Broadway video series, he and co-star J. Harrison Ghee, who plays Lola, performed songs from the hit musical. Ghee sang an acoustic take on “The Land of Lola,” and Urie offered a stripped-down “Soul of a Man.” Watch their performances below.
Urie, who is scheduled to stay with the production through August 6, succeeded Olivier nominee Killian Donnelly at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. The current cast also includes Taylor Louderman as Lauren and Shannon O’Boyle as Nicola.
